Thrustmaster T300 Repair Part
Thrustmaster T300 Repair Part
Are you into sim racing? Do you own a Thrustmaster T300 or TX that suddenly started making chunky noises (like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFRgx5NqUzo) and started feeling like your old G27? Instead of shelling out 60+euro for Thrustmaster to fix it, simply pick this part up and repair it yourself!
This small plastic part holds the Hall-effect sensor board that reads the magnet on the shaft of the motor. If this part breaks, the sensor and the magnet become misaligned and the motor's feedback starts fighting itself.
NOTE: This is a part that I designed to fix a problem with a consumer product that could only be fixed by shipping the entire product to the manufacturer at significant cost. Due to the tolerance necessary some skill is required to print this properly. Print this in the highest resolution possible and in a non-brittle material. The screws that hold the circuit board will self-tap into the tall pillars. The standoffs on the bottom of the part are very important and cannot be omitted. I recommend Shapeways for their excellent tolerance in their SLS process.
